Job summary

PERCEPT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Computer Vision/Deep Learning specialist to build, fine-tune, and evaluate vision models. You will work with datasets, run experiments, and measure performance across key metrics, focusing on deployment readiness.

You will collaborate on annotation quality, edge-case analysis, and model governance, ensuring privacy and security practices while maintaining documentation and handover materials.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python, deep learning and computer vision.
• Experience with CV workflows: detection, classification, tracking, pose estimation.
• Familiar with PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV.
• Understanding dataset preparation, model training, precision/recall/F1, latency.
• Able to analyse model failures and suggest improvements.
• Familiar with annotation tools and quality checks.
• Experience with Docker and MLOps is a plus.
• Camera-based analytics experience is useful.

Responsibilities

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Train, fine-tune and evaluate Computer Vision models.
• Prepare and maintain datasets, experiments, evaluation results and model artefacts.
• Investigate false detections, missed events, tracking errors and model degradation.
• Identify edge cases, define labelling tasks and review annotation quality.

Minimum Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Practical Python, deep-learning and Computer Vision experience.
• Experience with at least one Computer Vision workflow such as detection, classification, tracking, pose estimation or video analytics.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV or similar tools.
• Understanding of dataset preparation, model training, precision, recall, F1 and latency.
• Able to analyse model failures and recommend data, configuration or model improvements.
• Familiarity with annotation tools and labelling quality checks.
• Experience with Docker, MLOps, experiment tracking, ONNX, TensorRT or GPU inference is useful but not mandatory.
• Camera-based analytics experience is useful but not mandatory.
