Career Connex Private Limited is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to deliver cutting-edge computer vision, video analytics, multimodal AI, and generative AI solutions across cloud, edge, and on‑prem environments.

You will design, develop, train, and deploy AI/ML models for video analytics, object detection, facial recognition, LPR, and multimodal applications, while building end‑to‑end pipelines, evaluating models, and implementing scalable backend services and APIs to empower

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in production deployment of AI solutions
• Proficient in Python and/or Java; ability to learn other languages
• Experience architecting and engineering AI solutions is a plus
• Strong knowledge of CV concepts, ML frameworks, and AI lifecycle
• Willingness to work on-site at Jurong East

Responsabilidades

• Design, train, and deploy AI/ML models for Video Analytics, Object Detection, Facial Recognition, LPR/ANPR, and Re-Identification
• Build end-to-end CV pipelines from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring
• Evaluate and benchmark state-of-the-art AI models and frameworks
• Develop user-facing application layers for CV lifecycle tools and dashboards
• Own backend services (Python, FastAPI, gRPC) to power automated CV workflows
• Integrate CV toolkits (PyTorch, OpenCV, Ultralytics YOLO) for orchestration
• Create scalable APIs with clear contracts, versioning, and documentation
• Implement orchestration layers for multi-step pipelines with retry and SLA guarantees

The candidate will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge computer vision, video analytics, multimodal AI, and generative AI solutions deployed across cloud, edge, and on-premises environments.

The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, ML Ops, and AI solution architecture, with hands-on experience in deploying production-grade AI systems.

AI Solution Development

o Design, develop, train, and deploy AI/ML models for:

o Video Analytics

o Object Detection and Tracking

o Facial Recognition

o License Plate Recognition (LPR/ANPR)

o Person Re-Identification

o Behavior Analytics

o Multimodal AI applications

o Generative AI and LLM-based solutions

• Build end-to-end AI pipelines from data ingestion through model deployment and monitoring
• Evaluate and benchmark state-of-the-art AI models and frameworks
• Design and build user-facing application layers across the full CV lifecycle: data curation tools, training dashboards, evaluation, deployment workflows, and monitoring
• Own backend services (Python, Fast API, g RPC) that power automated CV pipelines-integrating data prep, augmentation, model training, and evaluation into seamless agent-driven workflows
• Build scalable APIs with clean contracts, versioning, and documentation that internal teams and platform agents consume
• Integrate and wrap CV toolkits (PyTorch, OpenCV, Ultralytics YOLO) so the platform can orchestrate them programmatically
• Implement orchestration layers for multi-step pipelines with retry, rollback, and SLA guarantees

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Image Processing or equivalent competencies

• At least 3 years of experience in production deployment of AI solutions
• Competent in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java , Java). Interest and ability to gain expertise in other programming languages, frameworks, and technologies
• Able to contribute to architecting and engineering for AI would be a strong plus
• Proven track record delivering AI projects from concept to deployment
• Knowledge and experience with any of the following software engineering domains would be an advantage:
• Web development
• End-to-end implementation of production-grade solutions, optimized for scalability, stability and performance
• Big data technologies
• Container technologies
• Data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence
• Design, implement, and evaluate deep learning algorithms and models
• Computer Vision foundational concepts
• Vision-language models
• Image preprocessing and retrieval (semantic and visual retrieval, detection, embeddings etc.)
• Video preprocessing and retrieval (temporal context, clip-level indexing)
• Resourceful and meticulous professionals who are passionate about delivering AI-powered capabilities
• Able to work independently and in teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to keep the overarching objectives and constraints of the project in mind while pursuing the technical details
