A facilities management company in Singapore is seeking an Engineering Maintenance and Safety Coordinator. Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining engineering systems, developing workplace safety policies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a diploma in a relevant field and possess good communication skills. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive approach to safety and engineering tasks.
Carry out repairs and troubleshooting of back-end engineering maintenance works and ensuring excellency and consistency in operational supports within the workplace according to the design intents of the various mechanical, electrical, and specialist systems
To be responsible for all deliverables required in the agreement.
To align with the overall client’s expectation and contractual requirements and support the operations of the premises, especially in the front-end engineering. To execute all fix it and programmed maintenance within the framework of the allocated resources.
Managing all minor repairs and fix it work.
Work closely with other service providers in the premises to be part of the team to create a safe and sound environment for the staff and visitors to demonstrate the strength and capability of ISS’s integrated service model to be productive, efficient and effective.
Manage relationship with all specialists sub-con and contractors appointed by the premises to achieve the required KPI, client’s expectations and deliverables.
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits regularly.
Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements, codes of practice, and company safety policies.
Investigate and report any workplace incidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions.
Coordinate and conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training sessions for staff and contractors.
Maintain safety documentation, including permits, incident reports, and compliance records.
Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities and external auditors on safety matters.
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related field will be a bonus.
Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently.
Good communication and coordination skills.
