M&E Supervisor

Working Days: 5 Days a Week (Monday – Friday), 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Saturday work may be required half-day depending on the project (OT claims applicable).

Office location at City Hall, with site work at Jurong or other sites as needed.

Salary: $2800 to $3500

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of M&E experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend daily subcontractor meetings to discuss M&E issues and meet project schedules.
• Monitor site progress and safety compliance of subcontractors; report findings to superiors and safety officers.
• Ensure subcontractor works conform to approved drawings and details; take remedial actions for non-conformance.
• Conduct daily activity inspections with the project RE or RTO; address comments to ensure work approval.
• Maintain proper records of inspections for legal and future reference.
• Communicate confidently with workers, subcontractors, and peers; seek senior consultation when in doubt.
• Strive for efficient approval processes and adhere to BCA good practices.
• Assist in Environmental Health Safety programs to promote a safe, clean site.
• Upgrade knowledge through relevant construction courses and study cost-saving methods.
• Accept additional responsibilities to support project cost savings.
• Guide new M&E supervisors for seamless team integration.
