Job summary

KAH ENGINEERING (1986) PTE LTD is seeking a Senior Tender Engineer in Singapore to review drawings, estimate costs, and coordinate with suppliers for tender submissions.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering and 4–5 years of post-graduate experience in design, project management or tendering, with strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering from a recognized university.
• 4–5 years postgraduate experience in design, supervision, project management, cost estimation or tendering in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• Responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review tender drawings and specifications to understand scope of work upon invitation from main contractor, consultant, or clients.
• Source suppliers and request for quotation.
• Estimate quantities and measure ACMV, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Sanitary and Electrical services from tender drawings for commercial and industrial buildings.
• Price comparison and costing summarization.
• Prepare tender submission documentation (technical data, schedule of unit rates, catalogue submissions).
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Respond to client inquiries and strive for customer satisfaction.
• Work with project engineer to ensure contract compliance and monitor project costs.
• Prepare progress payment claims, variations, project budgets and final accounts.
