Job summary

KION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a capable Quantity Surveyor to prepare tender submissions, cost estimates, and supplier sourcing for M&E projects. You will interpret specifications, manage take-offs, and support bid clarifications with consultants.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related engineering field, 2 years of relevant experience, and strong MS Office skills, with solid analytical and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of M&E works and costing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender submission including Bills of Quantities.
• Prepare tender quotations including take-off, materials/subcontractors outsourcing and costing.
• Interpret the specification and contract documents.
• Source new suppliers and subcontractors.
• Analyze and negotiate costs for tender BQ and cost control.
• Responsible for measurement of quantities and cost estimation.
• Prepare pre- and post Bid tender clarifications with consultants.
• Performs other duties as assigned
