seeks a Project Engineer with at least five years of mechanical/electrical construction experience to oversee on-site works in Singapore. You will monitor progress, attend progress, variation, and coordination meetings, and coordinate with the client, contractors, and authorities. The role requires strong communication, team collaboration, and proficiency with MS Office and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in construction of mechanical/electrical works.
• Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or recognized degree.
• Ability to work independently, a strong team player and to handle fast-paced projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and presentation abilities.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on progress of works to OIC, Project Director, Client and Contractors.
• Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings.
• Attend QAQC meetings and audits to ensure quality.
• Assist in verification of reports and claims related to mechanical/electrical works.
• Facilitate supervision team in resolving contractor queries and coordinate on-site works.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders for necessary approvals to commence works.
• Assist client in verification of contractor and ancillary contractor reports and claims.
• Feedback site issues and irregularities to OIC and contractors.
• Prepare presentation materials and verify minutes of meetings with contractors.
• Undertake other duties including administrative tasks as instructed by client.
