M&E Manager

Our client is a well-established A1 Main Contractor with a strong portfolio across residential, institutional, and mixed-use developments in Singapore. Known for delivering quality building projects with a high standard of safety and efficiency, they are currently seeking an experienced M&E Manager to lead and manage M&E works for an upcoming institutional development in the East.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, manage, and oversee all M&E works on-site to ensure timely delivery and compliance with design specifications, codes, and statutory requirements.
2. Coordinate with consultants, architects, main contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve technical and site issues efficiently.
3. Review and approve M&E shop drawings, technical submissions, and materials for compliance.
4. Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
5. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
6. Lead M&E coordination meetings and provide technical support to the project team.
7. Manage M&E budgets and ensure cost control without compromising quality.
8. Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations and project requirements.

Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in M&E project management within the construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of Singapore construction codes and regulations.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Willing to work alternate Saturdays as per project schedule.
