M&E Manager | Institutional Project | A1 main contractor - JWY

Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 Main Contractors, renowned for their impressive track record in HDB, industrial, institutional, and iconic mixed-use developments. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a highly capable M&E Manager to lead the M&E scope for a major institutional project in East Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the M&E team in all aspects of project execution — including design coordination, submission & approval processes, procurement planning, and stakeholder engagement (client, consultants, sub-contractors, and other trades).

• Ensure timely progress of M&E site installation works to meet project milestones.

• Oversee all Testing & Commissioning (T&C), including Combined T&C for RI and TOP, and ensure successful handover to the client.

• Address cost and time implications from design changes, late confirmations, and variation orders (VOs), and work with the Project Manager/Project Director on EOT letters and claims.

• Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the project efficiently and professionally.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board Singapore.

• At least 8 years of experience in the M&E field within the construction industry, with a strong track record of project delivery.

• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

• Strong understanding of project timelines, cost control, and stakeholder management.

• A collaborative team player who works closely with Project Manager and Project Director to meet project goals.
