Job summary

BuildBridge Partners Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Construction Lead to manageElectrical scope for on-site Data Centre projects in Singapore. You will oversee HV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, busduct and other critical power infrastructure, coordinating with mechanical, architectural and structural teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant M&E construction experience, preferably with data centre projects.
• Experience managing M&E works for Data Centre, Mission Critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall M&E construction activities for Data Centre projects.
• Take primary responsibility for the Electrical scope, including coordination, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Oversee major electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, busduct and other critical power infrastructure.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Architectural, Structural and specialist teams to ensure proper integration of all services.
• Review design drawings, technical submissions, shop drawings and construction methodologies.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, site coordination issues and potential programme risks.
• Manage and coordinate M&E subcontractors, specialist contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved project programme.
• Ensure all M&E works meet project specifications, quality standards, authority requirements and safety regulations.
• Lead M&E coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning and system handover activities.
• Support procurement, planning and sequencing of M&E works to meet project milestones.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to M&E engineers and site teams.
