Job description

M&E Manager

Working Days: 5 Days a Week (Monday – Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm

Office Location: 1 Coleman St, The Adelphi, Singapore City Hall

Salary Range: $6500 to $7800

Requirements:

  • At least a degree holder
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Main Contractor or Subcontractor roles

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all M&E works are performed on time, in compliance with standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations.
  2. Liaise, coordinate, and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors on M&E matters or challenges to ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively.
  3. Coordinate and lead the site team, including M&E engineers, structural engineers, and architectural coordinators, to ensure quality performance meets consultants' specifications and clients' requirements.
  4. Attend all project site CCM meetings and resolve technical issues.
  5. Ensure timely submission and approval of M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements in line with the M&E master schedule deadline.
  6. Oversee and guide all M&E staff, supervisors, and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out according to approved shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
  7. Check site M&E Variation Orders and report M&E progress or problems to HQ.
  8. Attend site M&E inspections, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot technical issues or problems at the site.
  9. Study and review consultant technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and design intent to identify and resolve discrepancies related to M&E matters. Issue RFIs to relevant consultants or resolve issues with the consultant team or client.
  10. Manage M&E monthly meetings, involving, controlling, coordinating, and overseeing M&E matters comprehensively.
  11. Attend and resolve M&E issues during the DLP period.
  12. Participate in D&B projects together with consultants and architects.
