A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking an M&E Project Manager to coordinate and lead the on-site M&E team. The successful candidate will ensure projects are executed efficiently, comply with standards, and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Job Descriptions:
Coordinate and lead the on-site M&E team to execute and manage projects efficiently and administer all M&E contracts with appropriate contractual expertise.
Ensure all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works are executed on schedule, in compliance with relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations.
Liaise, coordinate, and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors on M&E matters or challenges to ensure projects run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively.
Lead the selection and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure the timely submission and approval of M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements, in alignment with the M&E master schedule.
Ensure all projects and works are managed according to customer specifications, meet quality standards, and comply with government regulations.
Review and verify site M&E Variation Orders and regularly report progress and any issues to HQ.
Facilitate communication between customers and various departments.
Manage projects to ensure budgets remain within allocated costs and margins.
Resolve all correspondences related to the MEP discipline.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
At least 5 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industry.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems when working under pressure.
Able to work independently under minimum supervision
5.5-days’ work week
