Job summary

DLM PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled professional to manage and oversee M&E services and facilities operations, providing backup and operational support to the Site Lead. You will ensure safe, reliable ACMV, electrical, lighting and plumbing systems are maintained and compliant.

You will conduct inspections, manage work orders and service activities, support billing documentation, coordinate with subcontractors, and identify cost-saving improvements while maintaining safety and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in M&E, ACMV, facilities management, building services, or maintenance operations.
• Hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of ACMV, mechanical ventilation, lighting, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of ACMV, mechanical ventilation, lighting, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of M&E systems to identify operational issues and ensure timely follow-up.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, operational documentation, and reports, and provide timely updates to the Site Lead.
• Manage and follow up on work orders, maintenance requests, and service activities to ensure timely completion.
• Support billing and payment documentation, including verification of completed works and supporting documents submitted by subcontractors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and provide basic operational guidance and training to ensure work is carried out according to required standards and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, increased efficiency, and productivity in M&E and facilities operations.
• Support defect inspections, reporting, and rectification works, coordinating with relevant contractors or subcontractors where required.
• Assist the Site Lead in resolving operational issues and ensuring compliance with maintenance requirements, safety standards, and client expectations.
