Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking a Critical Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations and maintenance of a high-availability building. You will drive preventive maintenance, manage external service partners, and lead incident response to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on experience with BMS/EMS/CMMS systems and the ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics, with a focus on uptime and service excellence across sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a closely related field.
• Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities or telecoms environments.
• Strong understanding of Uptime Institute Tier standards (Tier II–IV).
• Hands-on with BMS, EMS and CMMS systems; able to read electrical and mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations to maintain health of critical systems.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
• Manage third-party service providers, monitoring quality, safety, and SLAs.

• Min 8 years of proven experience working in data centers, mission-critical facilities, or telecommunications environments
• Strong understanding of Uptime Institute Tier standards (Tier II-IV)
• ands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Solid ability to read and interpret Electrical Single Line and Mechanical schematics.
