Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full spectrum of M&E projects, ensuring smooth execution and control.
- Participate in project management and contract administration.
- Identify and mitigate design, delivery, and risk-related challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Review M&E tender documents, highlight contractual obligations, and propose value engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with statutory agencies, clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to facilitate installation and progress.
- Ensure seamless interface management and coordination of design and construction activities.
- Enforce workplace safety standards at all project sites.
- Lead the end-to-end project execution, from inception and development to manufacturing, installation, and completion.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, architects, consultants, and nominated subcontractors.
- Monitor site progress in collaboration with the site manager, coordinators, and supervisors.
- Develop and maintain the project schedule to ensure timely delivery.
- Represent the project team in site and progress meetings with key stakeholders.
- Handle all correspondence, documentation, and reporting, including emails, weekly site progress reports, and project updates.
- Manage and monitor the approved project budget, optimizing costs through value engineering.
- Resolve design and technical issues in collaboration with site teams and factory managers.
- Plan, track, and adjust project timelines as needed.
- Implement and oversee project changes and interventions to meet deliverables.
- Provide clear direction and support to the project team.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Regularly track and report project progress, challenges, and solutions to management.
- Submit weekly progress reports detailing project status and key updates.
- Supervise and manage rectification works as necessary.
- Prepare and submit progressive and final claims to clients upon project completion.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and additional duties as assigned.
- Assess and approve subcontractor and supplier claims, ensuring appropriate payments.
- Attend weekly and fortnightly company meetings to review project performance.
