An established industry player is seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to coordinate various services on-site. Qualifications

  • Degree in electrical/mechanical/electronics engineering or relevant qualification.
  • At least 5 years of M&E LTA working experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Mechanical and Electrical services with consultants and sub-contractors.
  • Oversee all related M&E issues on site and assist in project management activities.
  • Ensure adherence to Safe work procedures and timely preparation of project reports.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate Mechanical and Electrical services with consultant and sub-contractors on site.

• Oversee all related M&E issues on site.

• Assists Manager in the co-ordination of project management activities

• Attends external project meetings, meetings with consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, daily project meetings and internal project closure meeting.

• Assists Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submission with Drafting Department.

• Ensures the adherence to the Safe work procedure (SWP)

• Ensures the timely preparation of project progress and other reports.

• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation.

• Orders materials required for projects.

Job Requirements

• Degree in electrical/mechanical/electronics engineering or relevant qualification

• At least 5 year(s) of M&E LTA working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Familiar with construction site activities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
