M&E Coordinator - Job Description
1. Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) aspects of construction projects, ensuring seamless integration with other disciplines.
2. Design Review: Review and verify M&E designs for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project specifications.
3. Site Supervision:Monitor on-site M&E installations, ensuring adherence to design, quality standards, and safety regulations.
4. Subcontractor Management: Liaise with and oversee M&E subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
5. Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all M&E work complies with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
6. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of M&E activities, including progress reports, testing, and commissioning documents.
7. Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all M&E-related matters, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Minimum Requirements
1.Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering from a recognised institution.
2. Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of M&E systems, local building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Software Proficiency: Competence in project management and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, BIM).
5. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with teams and stakeholders.
