Job summary

RSM International is seeking a capable M&A advisory professional to work on sell-side, buy-side and capital-raising deals with a regional focus on Southeast Asia and Greater China.

You will produce and analyse financial models, valuations, due diligence reports, and transaction documents while supporting business development activities and client workshops. The role involves end-to-end transaction cycle management and close collaboration with clients to negotiate and maintain relationships.

Qualifications

• More than 2 years of relevant experience in M&A, capital raising, transaction services, valuation, or other advisory services.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation/report writing skills, with understanding of business dynamics.
• Proven quantitative skills to analyse financial statements and build financial models in Excel.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Culturally adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
• Prior corporate advisory experience (M&A specifically) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on sell-side, buy-side and capital raising deals in all stages of execution with a regional focus on Southeast Asia and Greater China.
• Produce and analyse financial models, valuation assessments, due diligence reports, and transaction documents.
• Support business development initiatives, including proposals, market research, client workshops, and industry profiles.
• Project manage the entire transaction cycle, including data preparation, due diligence, and transaction support.
• Collaborate with clients to support negotiations throughout the transaction cycle and maintain relationships.
