Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design LV switchboards, MCCs, distribution boards and control panels for Singapore projects.

You will draft SLDs and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD, review customer specs, prepare BOMs and coordinate with customers, production and internal teams. Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required; 5-day work week; Tuas location with company transport.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in LV switchboard, MCC, distribution board, switchgear or electrical control panel design.
• Able to read and prepare SLD, schematic/wiring drawings and electrical layouts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Experience with BOM preparation, component selection or panel.

Responsibilities

• Design LV switchboards, MCCs, distribution boards and electrical control panels according to project requirements.
• Prepare SLD, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, GA/shop drawings and approval drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review customer specifications and electrical drawings and develop suitable design solutions.
• Prepare BOM, material requirements and electrical component selections.
• Coordinate technical matters with customers, consultants, production and internal teams.
• Support the Production team during panel fabrication and resolve design-related issues.
• Assist with design modifications, technical clarifications and project documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and project requirements.
