️ Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and authenticate items such as:
Gold and precious metal jewelry (18K, 22K, 24K)
Diamond and gemstone jewelry
Luxury watches (e.g., Rolex, Omega, Cartier) - Conduct professional in-person and WhatsApp-based assessments for customer buyback inquiries
- Accurately test purity and weight of gold items using in-house tools (scale, acid test, XRF, etc.)
- Verify watch authenticity, service history, and model condition
- Keep records of items bought, pricing, and certificates
- Monitor market prices (e.g., gold rates, second-hand watch trends)
- Help refine internal SOPs, pricing database, and customer valuation experience
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years experience in:
Jewelry retail, pawnbroking, watch trading, or gold valuation - Working knowledge of hallmarking, gold karats, and gemstone basics
- Familiarity with luxury watch models and secondary market prices
- High integrity and trustworthiness — you’ll be handling high-value items
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Tech-savvy and able to use basic apps for communication, documentation, and tracking
- Bonus: GIA, HRD, IGI qualification; prior experience in gold buying/pawning; understanding of precious metal pricing
