About the Role:

As our Luxury Bag Appraisal Lead, you’ll oversee the selection, evaluation, and pricing of luxury handbags, ensuring our inventory meets the highest standards of quality, desirability, and authenticity. You'll manage a team and work cross-functionally to uphold excellence in every item we carry.

1. Lead and mentor a team of specialists focused on luxury bag appraisal and acquisition.
2. Drive strategic inventory growth through disciplined acquisition at profitable margins.
3. Maintain and enhance a detailed pricing bible to ensure alignment with market trends and resale demand.
4. Execute a structured markdown strategy to optimize aged inventory turnover.
5. Oversee the end-to-end appraisal process, ensuring each item meets brand and quality standards.
6. Negotiate with sellers to acquire in-demand luxury pieces at ideal pricing.
7. Perform and supervise quality checks on all incoming items.
8. Research new product releases and luxury brand trends to strengthen internal knowledge.
9. Own and update the appraisal bible, and lead ongoing product training to help the team identify counterfeits and rare models confidently.
10. Ensure thorough documentation of all appraisal and quality assessments.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure smooth inventory flow.
12. Support broader operations through participation in key projects as needed.

What You Bring:

1. At least 5 years of experience appraising and handling luxury goods, especially handbags.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
