An international insurance provider in Singapore is seeking a qualified LUW Upstream Underwriter for its Energy team. Responsibilities include managing an Exploration and Production risk portfolio and leading underwriting analyses. Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of relevant reinsurance experience, including 5 years in Upstream Energy. Job Summary:
To build and develop the regional Upstream Energy portfolio as part of the Energy and Power team. Contribute to a profitable portfolio of Energy and Power business by developing an understanding of Upstream Energy underwriting principals and disciplines through discussions and research. Drive the growth objectives of the portfolio by identifying opportunities and performing delegated tasks. The candidate will be a key component of the Regional Energy team focusing on Upstream Energy both operational and construction risks and benefit from training, travel opportunities and mentorship at both a branch and international level. The position reports into the Regional Head of Energy, Singapore.
