Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) is seeking an Assistant Manager to design and develop automation and AI solutions for vehicle-related data services in Singapore. You will build RPA workflows, deploy AI-enabled tools, and craft dashboards and data products for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or HCI is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with RPA tools (UiPath/Power Automate) and/or AI tools.
• Ability to design clean, user-friendly dashboards and reports for non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with SQL and relational databases is helpful.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Self-directed learner of AI and automation technologies.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

[What the role is]

ASSISTANT MANAGER, STATISTICS & SERVICE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of a team that designs and develops automation and AI solutions to transform how vehicle-related data services are delivered at LTA. This includes building robotic process automation (RPA) workflows to streamline business processes, developing and deploying AI-enabled tools, and creating intuitive, well-designed dashboards and data products for internal and external stakeholders.

Working with rich datasets on vehicle-related statistics in Singapore, you will translate complex data into clear, visually compelling insights that support policy-making and feature in publications on the LTA and OneMotoring websites. You will partner closely with the leadership team and internal/external stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, prototype solutions, and drive adoption of digital tools across the division.

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in any discipline; preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science/Analytics, or Design/Human-Computer Interaction would be an advantage
• Hands‑on experience developing RPA solutions (e.g. UiPath, Power Automate) and/or AI tools, including areas such as prompt engineering, machine learning applications, or AI‑assisted workflow design
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to craft clean, user‑friendly dashboards, visualisations, and reports for non‑technical audiences
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with Python, SQL, and relational databases (e.g. IBM Query Management Facility) will be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach and the ability to work with complex datasets
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
