Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Executive Engineer for Rail Cybersecurity to join the LTA Rail Cybersecurity team. You will help keep Land Transport Rail systems safe and secure, including Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) systems, by shaping cybersecurity specifications and guiding lifecycle security efforts.

• Relevant knowledge in Engineering, Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Experience with cybersecurity design, networks, and OT systems is advantageous.

• Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for a senior position.

Responsibilities

• Develop project-specific cybersecurity specifications based on industry best practices and standards.
• Participate in tender evaluation for technical cybersecurity proposals and advise the steering committee.
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity robustness of RTS systems throughout the lifecycle.
• Stay updated on threats, technologies and best practices to improve the organization’s security posture.

[What the role is]

SENIOR/ EXECUTIVE ENGINEER, RAIL CYBERSECURITY

[What you will be working on]

You will be a key member of LTA Rail Cybersecurity team, focused on keeping the Land Transport Rail systems safe and secure, including Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) systems. The candidate should possess strong technical skills, industry certifications, and expected to keep abreast of new cybersecurity solutions and practices to protect against new emerging cybersecurity threats. The key responsibilities include:

• Develop project specific cybersecurity specifications based on industry best practices, prevailing cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Participate in tender evaluation for technical proposals on cybersecurity and provide recommendations to the tender steering committee.
• Work closely with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity robustness of RTS systems throughout the system’s lifecycle.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the organization’s security posture.
