Job summary

sggovterp is seeking an Executive Engineer/Engineer, Mechanical Services (Rail) to provide design and engineering support for railway and road infrastructure projects. The role involves technical studies, tender preparation and supervision of consultants and contractors on site.

The position emphasizes strong communication, leadership and collaboration with stakeholders. Experience in mechanical services within rail environments is preferred and candidates with varying levels of experience are

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering.
• Senior Engineer: at least 5 years of experience in the design and supervision of mechanical systems/services stated above.
• Executive Engineer: at least 2 years of experience in the design and supervision of mechanical system/service stated above.
• Candidates without working experience are welcome to apply.
• Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

[What the role is]

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER/ENGINEER, MECHANICAL SERVICES (RAIL)

[What you will be working on]

Engineers are required to provide design and engineering supports to stakeholders on railway, road tunnel and bus infrastructures, carry out technical studies and investigations, technological researches, etc., and the following responsibilities:

• Upkeeping engineering standards, design criteria, performance specifications and technical requirements for air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems, fire protection systems, plumbing, sanitary and water services, tunnel ventilation system, lifts and escalators, etc.
• Preparation and evaluation of tenders, review of design submissions by consultants and contractors, site supervision, testing and commissioning, etc.

[What we are looking for]

• Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering
• Senior Engineer: At least 5 years of experience in the design and supervision of mechanical systems/services stated in the above job description.
