[What the role is]

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER / ENGINEER (BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS)

[What you will be working on]

As part of the Business Requirements team, you will analyze and establish user requirements for the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system used by commuters and public transport operators of buses and MRT/LRT.

With the implementation of Account-Based Ticketing, which allows commuters to pay fares using credit and debit cards, you will understand how new payment modes are integrated into the bus and rail ticketing systems. You will have opportunities to define requirements that meet evolving user needs.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliberate on business and operational needs, translating these into feasible and sustainable system requirements. This role is suitable for a people-oriented individual who enjoys interaction, systematic thinking, and clear communication to explain requirements to diverse audiences.

[What we are looking for]

• Background in Information Technology or Engineering
• Understanding of system implementation lifecycle, with at least one project analyzing requirements
• Technological savviness and willingness to explore innovative solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Internship experience in payment systems or AFC systems using Smart Cards is advantageous
