A leading public sector organization in Singapore seeks an Assistant Project Engineer for Rail Communications. This role involves supervising projects, ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements, and reviewing contractor submissions. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and strong analytical and communication skills.
What the role is:
What you will be working on:
You will be involved in supervising the project implementation of Rail Communications System contracts for MRT projects. You will support the daily running of the site under the guidance of the engineer/manager. Your responsibilities include inspecting testing and commissioning activities to ensure safety, progress, and quality standards are met in compliance with the contract and regulatory requirements. You will develop a strong understanding of site supervision, focusing on safety and quality aspects. Additionally, you will review Method Statements submitted by contractors to ensure they meet contract and LTA specifications.
What we are looking for:
• Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Good understanding of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, trackwork, electrical, and mechanical works
• Good communication and presentation skills
• A team player who is analytical, resourceful, and result-oriented
• Ability to perform night works and overtime, including weekends and public holidays
