[What the role is]

DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, PRODUCTIVITY ENHANCEMENT / SUSTAINABILITY

[What you will be working on]

We are seeking a passionate individual to join our productivity enhancement team that plays a key role in shaping the future of road, bus, and commuter infrastructure construction through process re-engineering and technology. This involves working with our project teams and partners to improve construction safety and adopt sustainable practices.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Formulate frameworks and oversee the implementation and tracking of initiatives involving emerging technologies and automation solutions in areas such as:
  • Improving construction productivity with advanced technologies, robots, artificial intelligence, etc.
  • Enhancing safety at construction sites through safety-related solutions
  • Promoting environmental and sustainable practices via construction equipment, machinery, and materials
  • Reviewing current design and construction processes to identify areas for improvement
  1. Identify and evaluate suitable initiatives involving emerging technologies and automation solutions in the same fields as above.
  • Engage project teams, partners, and stakeholders to foster interest and secure buy-in for adopting proposed solutions through close collaboration.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates to our Contract Specifications concerning Construction Technology, Innovation, Productivity, and Sustainability (CTIPS) requirements.

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 3 years of experience in construction projects, preferably with a developer (including public agencies), design consultant, or main contractor.
  • Experience or familiarity with Project Management, Business Development, or related disciplines in the built environment sector, including automation and productivity solutions, is advantageous.
  • Proactive with strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Resourceful, capable of working independently and in teams, with a positive mindset.
