sggovterp is seeking a Principal/Senior Engineer in Street Design & Infrastructure Technology in Singapore. You will lead and support planning and design development of commuter and road infrastructure projects to enhance travel experience for all users.
You will conduct feasibility studies, conceptualise user-centric road schemes, and prepare tender specifications, contract management, and technical support during implementation.

You will be part of a team to lead and support the planning and design development of commuter and road infrastructure projects to enhance the travel experience of commuters, motorists, cyclists and active mobility users. You will have the opportunity to conduct feasibility studies and utilise design thinking to conceptualise and design user-centric road schemes. You will also prepare tender specifications, lead consultancy and contract management, and provide technical support in the project implementation stage. There will also be opportunities for you to drive the exploration, evaluation and prototyping of emerging technology suitable for infrastructure development, as well as develop and review engineering standards and design guidelines.
In addition, to achieve our vision of a car-lite nation, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with agencies and stakeholders to redefine our user’s travel experience through the development of Transit Priority Corridors and road re-purposing projects. You will be part of the team participating in road and streetscape design aimed at creating pedestrian friendly streets.
