Job summary

Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore seeks an Executive Engineer / Engineer, Track & Alignment to lead railway alignment and ground vibration studies for rail projects. The role involves planning, detail design, and supervising design consultants and contracts.

The position requires a Civil Engineering background with at least 5 years in track design, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in MicroStation/OpenRail CAD. On-site work in Singapore is expected.

Job description

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER / ENGINEER, TRACK & ALIGNMENT

We are seeking for an individual as part of the team to lead, manage and supervise railway alignment / permanent way design and ground vibration study in the planning and development of railway / metro projects. You will have opportunities to involve in engineering studies, review design submissions, carry out detail design, managing contracts and design consultants, reviewing engineering standards as well as providing technical support to other LTA divisions in planning, design, construction, asset maintenance / management and regulatory functions.

What we are looking for

• Knowledge in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably with at least 5 years of relevant experience in track and rail alignment design
• Keen interest in the development of rail infrastructure projects
• Ability to use Microstation/Openrail CAD software
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates with strong and relevant years of experience will be considered for senior roles
