Job summary

TEMP-TEAM PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Design Engineer to support planning, design and coordination of major LTA infrastructure projects. You will work with project teams and consultants to develop engineering solutions meeting LTA and statutory requirements.

The role requires a Civil/Structural engineering degree, 5–6 years of relevant experience on LTA projects, proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MIDAS, STAAD.Pro and Revit familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
• 5–6 years of relevant civil/structural design experience.
• Mandatory experience working on LTA projects in Singapore.
• Good understanding of LTA design requirements, Eurocodes and local standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MIDAS, STAAD.Pro, PLAXIS or similar.
• Knowledge of BIM and Revit is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates on the path to Professional Engineer registration are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering calculations, design reports and construction drawings.
• Assist in the development of civil and structural designs for LTA infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and authorities on design submissions.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with LTA, BCA, PUB and relevant Singapore standards.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and temporary works designs.
• Support design coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct design checks and engineering assessments throughout project execution.
• Assist with value engineering initiatives and constructability reviews.
• Liaise with site teams to resolve design-related issues during construction.
• Prepare technical documentation and support authority submissions.
