Job summary

DBiz.ai in Singapore seeks an experienced Finance ERP consultant to analyse finance workflows (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and design ERP-based solutions for client projects, applying clean-core principles and platform-native capabilities.

You will run requirements workshops, challenge legacy processes, govern vendor delivery, support data migration and reporting, and help build a sustainable in-house ERP capability with Centres of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• Strong ownership mindset; independently drive moderately complex to advanced scopes; uphold engineering standards and uplift team capabilities.
• Deep expertise in Agile practices and Oracle Fusion Finance, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, or equivalent major enterprise platforms; strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, financial statements, and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as an in-house Finance ERP functional specialist, independently reviewing and challenging SI- and vendor-proposed designs, configurations, customisations and technical solutions for clientele implementations.
• Contribute to building a sustainable in-house ERP capability (e.g., Centres of Excellence), setting platform standards across multiple client accounts and ensuring durable knowledge and capability remains within the organisation.
• Lead and govern vendor delivery with technical authority, guiding vendors towards high-quality delivery and shaping how teams build and maintain platform components.
• Maintain oversight and system governance over enterprise platforms, providing senior technical leadership to vendor teams and system integrators, ensuring seamless integration across complex enterprise technology ecosystems.
• Analyse defects and production issues across business processes, configurations, integrations and data; support resolution and continuous improvement.

Job description

• Conduct comprehensive business process analysis of finance workflows, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting, proposing ERP product-based solutions to improve efficiency for client projects.
• Analyse current-state and design future-state processes, identifying opportunities to simplify and standardise processes using ERP platform capabilities and clean-core principles.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions, resolving conflicting requirements and challenging legacy practices to distinguish genuine business and policy needs from existing system constraints.
• Configure and customise Finance ERP components, including:
• organisational and financial structures
• Chart of Accounts
• Projects
• workflows and approval structures
• business rules and other core financial structures supporting client operations
• Develop prototypes / proofs-of-concept (PoCs) where appropriate to validate requirements and solution approaches before implementation.
• Develop sophisticated financial reports and leverage AI for advanced analytics, while providing consultation and training to guide users on best practices and new functionalities.
• Make disciplined, scalable use of platform-native capabilities (data models, workflow engines, automation frameworks, permission models, integration connectors, extension layers), including custom coding where required to support critical finance operations.
• Maintain accountability for platform delivery outcomes, including vendor-delivered work, conducting technical reviews similar to pull request reviews in software development.

• Experience in deep platform mastery and architectural thinking, with commitment to engineering excellence and continuous improvement, is an advantage.
• Ability to lead and govern vendor delivery with technical authority, guiding vendors towards high-quality delivery and shaping how teams build and maintain platform components.
