About the role
PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore is seeking an exceptional Lounge & Bar Manager (Portman's Bar and Skyline Bar) to join our talented hospitality team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel's lounge and bar, ensuring an exceptional experience for all our guests. Based in the heart of Downtown Core Central Region, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our hotel.
What you'll be doing
Manage the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the hotel's lounge and bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to brand standards
Oversee the recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of lounge/bar associates
Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, improve profitability, and enhance the guest experience
Monitor inventory, stock levels, and financial performance, making adjustments as needed to optimise operations
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, leading by example and promoting a culture of excellence
Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a cohesive guest experience
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the guest experience
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations
What we're looking for
Minimum 3–5 years in bar/lounge management, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end establishment.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience with hospitality management software
Formal training or qualifications in hospitality management or a related field would be an advantage
