Job summary

QUANTUM INFOTECH SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to manage Domino and SharePoint infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on work with Domino servers, mail routing, and user requests, plus setup and maintenance of SharePoint farms. Candidates should have 6+ years of relevant experience and be able to coordinate with project teams on IT operations data. Qualifications

• Minimum six years hands-on Domino Administration setup and maintenance.
• At least six years setting up Windows Server environments.
• At least six years setting up Linux Server environments.
• Experience applying Windows and Linux patches and troubleshooting servers.
• Knowledge of VMware Horizon View administration.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Server administration.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot mail and server issues.
• Assist in user requests for databases, replications, and mail/messaging requests.
• Monitor Domino servers to ensure service availability.
• Evaluate new products to enhance office systems infrastructure.
• Provide statistics on Domino servers availability and update virus pattern files.
• Coordinate with Project Teams on IT operations data and statistics.
• Setup and customise SharePoint Farm with Webfront, Application and SQL servers.
• Support and troubleshoot SharePoint Farm issues.
• Provision users for new web applications and site collections.
• Monitor SharePoint farm servers for availability.
• Assist in risk evaluation of new SharePoint versions.
• Provide statistics on SharePoint server availability.

Job description

Working Experience And Skill Requirements:

In addition to the Mandatory Basic Non Enterprise Server Skill Requirements:

1. Must have at least Six (6) years hands-on experience in Lotus Domino Administration set up and maintenance;
2. Must have at least Six (6) years hands-on experience in setting up Windows OS and server;
3. Must have at least Six (6) years hands-on experience in setting up Linux OS and server.
4. Must also have working experience in applying Windows and Linux patches, and troubleshooting windows and Linux server issues.
5. Preferably with some knowledge and experience in VMWare Horizon View Virtual Desktop Administration set up and maintenance
6. Preferably with some knowledge and experience in SharePoint Server Administration set up and maintenance

Job Description:

A. Manage and Support of Domino Servers

1. Support and troubleshoot mail and server issues, such as mail routing, mail agents and other mail server related issues;
2. Support users’ requests for creation of databases, replications, messaging (mail, SMS, Page) requests; and other similar Domino’s service requests;
3. Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the Domino servers to ensure availability of the services to users;
4. Assist in the evaluation of new products and technologies to enhance or improve the integrated office systems infrastructure;
5. Assist in the provisions of statistics on Domino servers availability and other server related statistics and update of mail virus pattern files
6. Coordinate with Project Teams in the analysis, presentation and management of IT operations date and statistics.

B. Manage and Support of SharePoint Infrastructure

1. Setup and customise of several SharePoint Farm comprising of Webfront, Application and SQL servers;
2. Support and troubleshoot of SharePoint Farm issues;
3. Provision and support of users’ requests for creation of new web applications, site collections and related day-day SharePoint service requests;
4. Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the SharePoint farm servers to ensure availability of the services to users;
5. Assist in the risk management evaluation of new SharePoint version for future SharePoint upgrade plans;
6. Assist in the provisions of statistics on SharePoint servers’ availability
7. Coordinate with Project Teams in the analysis, presentation and management of IT operations date and statistics
