Job summary

SHINGDA CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced tipper lorry driver to support daily site logistics and material transport.

You will load and unload materials using the hydraulic system, conduct pre-trip checks, secure loads, follow traffic rules, and report any vehicle issues to Supervisors/Project Manager. The role requires a Class 4 driving license, a safety certificate, and several years of relevant construction exposure.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 4 driving license.
• Hold a valid safety certificate.
• At least 6 years working experience in Construction or at least 4 years working experience with coretrade.
• Class 4 driving licence 2 years complete and minimum 1 year tipper lorry driving experience in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating the tipper lorry to transport materials such as sand, gravel, earth, or other construction-related materials from one location to another.
• Loading and unloading materials using the hydraulic system of the tipper lorry.
• Ensuring the load is properly secured and balanced to prevent accidents or spills during transportation.
• Following all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Reporting any mechanical issues or damages to the vehicle immediately for repairs.
• Ensuring that the vehicle is equipped with safety gear, such as reflective vests, warning triangles, and fire extinguishers.
• Performing basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brake systems.
• Keeping the vehicle clean and ensuring it is regularly serviced and inspected according to company guidelines.
• Complying with local regulations regarding weight limits, hazardous materials transportation, and other relevant laws.
• Ensuring that all necessary permits and licenses are up to date and carried in the vehicle.
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor/Engineer/Project Manager.
