Job summary

ENG SOON HENG TRADING PTE. LTD. is seeking a responsible lorry driver to transport goods across Singapore. You will load and unload, secure cargo, and verify all delivery documents with accuracy.

You will inspect vehicles, plan efficient routes, and assist in warehouse tasks as needed. A valid Class 3/4 license and 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driving license for relevant vehicle type (Class 3/4).
• Minimum 1–2 years of lorry driving experience preferred.
• Good driving record and commitment to road safety.
• Familiarity with Singapore roads and delivery routes.
• Physically fit to lift and move heavy goods.
• Responsible, punctual, and reliable behavior.
• Good time management and organization skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company lorry safely and deliver goods per the schedule.

1. Drive the company lorry safely and responsibly to deliver goods according to the assigned schedule.
2. Load, unload, and secure goods to prevent damage during transportation.
3. Ensure accurate delivery and collection of goods, including verifying delivery orders (DOs), invoices, and other required documents.
4. Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip and report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements.
5. Plan delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
6. Assist in warehouse duties when required, including loading, unloading, and stock movement.
7. Obtain customer signatures and complete all delivery documentation accurately.

Job Requirement

1. Valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 4 Driving Licence (depending on the vehicle type).
2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a lorry driver is preferred.
3. Good driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
4. Familiarity with Singapore roads and delivery routes.
