Job description

We are looking for a Head Chef to join our restaurant and prepare authentic Japanese cuisine for our guests.

- Basic Salary Range: SGD $5000-$6000

- Ability to converse in Japanese will be an advantage for liaison with Japan HQ. Responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu planning and food preparation.

- Availability to work shifts during business hours, including weekends and public holidays. Ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

- Responsibilities include handling a wide range of raw ingredients, managing food stocks, and working with attention to detail to fulfill all orders within quality standards. Must have experience with Japanese cuisine and be available to work during our opening hours. A full understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is required.

- Follow company rules and regulations.

- Prepare food orders in a timely and organized manner.

- Lead the team in the preparation of all food items required for service on the line.

- 6-day work week.

- Staff meal included.
