TutorJohn Learning Centre is seeking a fast, reliable video editor to produce polished short-form content using CapCut or CapCut Pro. This hands-on role focuses on high-quality edits delivered efficiently, with branding, captions, and sound synced for social platforms.

You'll turn classroom, tutor, and student footage into engaging educational and promotional videos, follow brand style, manage multiple projects, and meet tight submission deadlines while adapting to current trends.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on proficiency in CapCut or CapCut Pro.
• Able to edit quickly without compromising quality.
• Portfolio showing CapCut-edited short-form videos.
• Solid sense of pacing, storytelling and visual presentation.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook using CapCut.
• Add hooks, subtitles, text overlays, transitions, graphics, music and sound effects.
• Turn raw classroom, tutor and student footage into polished educational videos.
• Follow TutorJohn branding, pacing, caption style and editing format.
• Produce multiple videos efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Resize and export videos for different platforms.
• Meet deadlines and revise based on feedback.
• Suggest improvements based on current short-form video trends.

TutorJohn Learning Centre is looking for a fast, reliable and creative video editor who can produce polished short-form content using CapCut or CapCut Pro.

Our main priority is simple: you must be able to edit efficiently while maintaining consistently high-quality work.

This is a hands‑on production role. We are not primarily looking for a marketing strategist, account manager or someone who only coordinates external production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short‑form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook using CapCut
• Add engaging hooks, subtitles, text overlays, transitions, graphics, music and sound effects
• Turn raw classroom, tutor and student footage into polished educational, entertaining and promotional videos
• Follow TutorJohn’s branding, pacing, caption style and preferred editing format
• Produce multiple videos efficiently while maintaining consistent quality
• Select the strongest footage and organise raw and completed files clearly
• Resize and export videos correctly for different social‑media platforms
• Make reasonable revisions based on feedback
• Meet agreed submission deadlines consistently
• Suggest improvements based on current short‑form video trends

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on proficiency in CapCut or CapCut Pro
• Able to edit quickly without compromising quality
• Portfolio containing CapCut‑edited short‑form videos
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling and visual presentation
• Comfortable editing dialogue, educational content and promotional videos
• Good understanding of subtitles, hooks, transitions, audio syncing and platform trends
• Able to follow a reference video or established brand style accurately
• Organised, responsive and reliable with deadlines
• Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions

Experience in education‑related content is helpful but not required. Strong editing ability matters more than formal qualifications or job titles.

Applicants without a relevant video portfolio may not be shortlisted.
