Your Job

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for optimizing freight transportation, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining high safety, service, and security standards. This role supports KES ET&S projects by representing the Logistics function on project teams, ensuring cost optimization and adherence to project delivery requirements.

Our Team

The Logistics Specialist role is part of the Supply Chain team. The team works closely with various departments to integrate logistics into company procedures and operations.

What You Will Do

• Develop efficient shipping strategies and assess transport routes for various types of goods.
• Prepare and manage comprehensive shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with FTA forms.
• Collaborate with customs brokers to ensure compliant import/export execution and manage KPIs.
• Oversee virtual logistics flows, maintaining control and visibility from origin to destination.
• Communicate with logistics service providers and stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency.
• Work with other departments to integrate logistics into company procedures and operations.
• Evaluate budgets, update performance metrics, and implement enhancements for logistics processes.
• Manage daily shipments according to company quality standards and legal regulations.
• Provide expert logistics advice and promptly resolve shipment issues.
• Train business units on logistical expectations and industry best practices.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Background in logistics, business administration, or supply chain management.
• Knowledge in industrial/project logistics.
• Experience with containerized, breakbulk, heavy lift movements, and air/sea/inland freight.
• Proficiency in business English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience in manufacturing and/or petrochemical industries.
• Advanced understanding of international trade and logistics best practices.
• Expertise in freight forwarding partnerships.
