Job Description
- Monitor and manage the daily movement of vehicles to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse, and operations teams to arrange routes and schedules efficiently.
- Track vehicle locations using GPS or tracking systems to ensure adherence to planned routes.
- Communicate changes in schedules, delivery instructions, or urgent jobs to drivers promptly.
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls from drivers to resolve delays, breakdowns, or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, routes taken, and completed jobs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and legal transport requirements.
- Liaise with customers and operations teams to update delivery status and handle complaints professionally.
- Assist in route planning to reduce fuel costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare daily and weekly traffic and delivery reports for management review.
Job Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level / NITEC in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transport coordination, or related roles (preferred).
- Knowledge of local road networks and traffic regulations.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and GPS tracking systems.
