Brief Job Description

  1. Collate, and organise timely and accurate logistics reports of the company and its subsidiaries to the directors and management as required.
  2. Supply Chain planning in the collection and receipt of waste and manufactured products, to optimise the allocation of logistics assets and resources.
  3. Actively communicate communiques, policies, and directives as set out by the company to other staff, agents under employment by, or in any form of affiliation/alliance with the company or its subsidiaries.

Operational Administration

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs. Identify opportunities to enhance logistics processes and procedures.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead a team of logistics by providing guidance, coaching, and support. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
  3. Transportation and Distribution: Oversee transportation and distribution operations of waste and manufactured products. Ensure timely delivery of products while minimizing transportation costs. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Inventory Management: Plan the storage and movement of waste and manufactured products to facilitate product sales and waste processing. Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely availability of goods.
  5. Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers on providing good transportation services, warehousing, and other logistics-related activities. Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
  6. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws. Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations, such as delays, disruptions, or security issues.
  7. Process Improvement: Continuously assess logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices, automation, and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
  8. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including KPIs, cost analysis, and operational metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities. Present findings to senior management and make recommendations for action.

Job Requirements

  1. Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain/ Business Management or related discipline
  2. Min. 5-8 years of relevant experiences in logistics management, material planning
  3. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management
  4. Highly responsible, a critical thinker and problem solver with a proven track record in team leadership
  5. Passion for up-cycling and making an impact
