SAB LOGISTICS PTE. LTD. is seeking a reliable truck driver to ensure containers are picked up and delivered safely across Singapore routes. You will perform vehicle checks, adhere to PSA port rules, and maintain container condition throughout the transport process.

The role requires a Class 4 driving license and at least 2 years of logistics experience. Primary/Secondary schooling is acceptable. A strong safety mindset and accurate reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4 driving license
• Clean driving record
• At least 2 years of driving/logistics experience
• O-Level/Primary or Secondary schooling

Responsabilités

• Ensure vehicle condition is acceptable for pickup/delivery of containers
• Support safety and health as part of daily routine and follow safe work methods
• Adhere to Singapore port rules and PSA port procedures
• Familiarize PSA port procedures with Singapore routes
• Ensure trailers are in good condition before mounting containers
• Conduct pre-operational checks on prime mover and chassis
• Transport containers and goods according to schedule
• Ensure containers are collected in good condition
• Drive truck from PSA to customer and back
• Perform daily vehicle road-worthiness checks and report faults

Jobs Description

• To ensure that the condition of the vehicle is acceptable for pickup of containers collected /delivered
• To support and make safety and health a part of their daily routine and to ensure that they are following safe work methods and relevant regulations
• To adhere and to comply with all Singapore ports rules and regulations.
• Familiarization of PSA port procedures with Singapore routes.
• Ensure the trailers is in good condition prior to mounting the containers.
• Conduct pre operational check on the prime mover and chassis before executing the job
• Transport container and goods according to the assigned schedule
• Ensure containers are collected in good conditions.
• Truck container from PSA to customer and vice versa.
• Carry out daily checks to ensure vehicle’s road worthiness before use & maintain vehicle and report any faults immediately to Planner for rectification

Job Requirements

• Clean driving records required
• Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level in any field.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): Class 4 Driving License
• Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
