Job description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Logistics Executive (Permit Declarations) to manage and ensure smooth execution of shipping and customs processes. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with Singapore Customs and international trade regulations, supporting our logistics operations with accuracy and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, permits, and declarations to ensure completeness and regulatory compliance.
  • Submit and track customs permit declarations in accordance with Singapore Customs and destination country requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, internal teams, and government agencies to coordinate timely shipment and clearance.
  • Ensure accurate billing for freight and customs-related charges; work closely with the Finance team to address and resolve discrepancies.
  • Keep up to date with customs regulations, import/export policies, and trade compliance requirements; communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Support customs audits, inspections, and investigations; maintain proper and auditable records.
  • Provide training or internal briefings to enhance customs compliance awareness across departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related Certificates.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in logistics operations, customs permit declaration, or trade compliance.
  • Familiar with Singapore Customs procedures and documentation requirements.
