Job description

Our client, a well-known Japanese company, is currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator/Executive.

Responsibilities:

1. Arrange shipment arrival schedules with customers.
2. Coordinate shipping instructions with suppliers, shipping companies, and packaging companies for cargo shipment.
3. Monitor pending shipment statuses.
4. Verify receipt of shipping documents and input data into the system.
5. Set sales prices and finalize contracts with internal customers.
6. Issue invoices using the ERP system.
7. Verify invoice payments to suppliers, shipping companies, etc.
8. Gather information on ocean freight situations.
9. Update cargo status.
10. Manage inventory levels to maintain standard levels.
11. Recognize item fulfillment and sales.
12. Plan the most cost-efficient delivery routes.
13. Analyze shipment trends and forecast future logistics needs.
14. Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager on finalizing price calculations.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business disciplines preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in international trading, logistics, and local delivery processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ERP system knowledge is preferred.
