A leading logistics company based in Singapore is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage timely shipments and ensure compliance with international shipping procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in import/export documentation and possess strong communication skills to manage diverse international stakeholders efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export documentation.
• Bilingual in handling export/import matters.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain shipment records in the ERP system.
• Apply for Electronic Certificates of Origin.

Job description

Job Description:

• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely shipments and order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to obtain competitive freight quotations, provide quotes to the sales team, and secure bookings.
• Ensure all shipments are in compliance with the terms of the contract.
• Maintain and update shipment records in the ERP system.
• Accurately and promptly apply for Electronic Certificates of Origin (ECOO).
• Coordinate with couriers, freight forwarder to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
• Handle urgent shipments outside of regular working hours or on weekends, when required.
• Ad-hoc logistics tasks assigned by the team leader.

Qualification:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling import/export and transshipment documentation.
• Knowledge of e-commerce fulfillment processes and compliance with customs clearance procedures and regulations in both Malaysia and Singapore.
• Possess strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, including Incoterms, from Malaysia to various countries, with a strong focus on the USA.
• Strong learning ability, humble, patient, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and expression skills.
• Highly responsible, emotionally stable, with a positive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Bilingualism is essential when handling export/import matters with China, the US, and Singapore, while trilingualism would be an advantage when dealing with Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
