Job summary

A global logistics company located in Singapore is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage local and export order processes. The successful candidate will coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure compliance with shipping documentation. A degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Dangerous Goods documentation are advantages.   • Arrange transportation for shipments and ensure timely dispatch.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of shipping documents.

Job Description

  • Coordinate with Sales, Customers, Production, and QC to process local and export orders globally.

  • Review Export Letters of Credit to ensure compliance with the Pro-forma Invoice; request amendments if necessary.

  • Follow up on payment-related matters with Sales, Customers, and Finance prior to shipment arrangements.

  • Book Full Container Load, Less than Container Load, or air freight with logistics service providers and share vessel/flight details with customers.

  • Arrange transportation for both local and export shipments; ensure on-time dispatch by hauliers.

  • Issue Packing Lists to the Warehouse for all shipments.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address customer inquiries, coordinate shipments, and resolve operational issues.

  • Ensure the accuracy and timely preparation of all shipping documents.

  • Participate in annual stock counts.

  • Perform other administrative duties such as invoice verification, document filing, and arranging local or overseas courier services.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Well-versed in shipping documentation processes, Microsoft Office, and experienced in handling Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation will be an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Navision will be an added advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability.

  • Team-oriented and collaborative.
