Job description

    As an integral member of our team at Miko, you will be responsible for optimizing Non-Direct Routing (NDR) processes to minimize transportation costs while ensuring service levels are maintained. Your role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders such as sales, procurement, and customer service to identify NDR opportunities and streamline order fulfillment. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing relationships with carriers and logistics service providers to negotiate rates, oversee contracts, and ensure compliance with routing guidelines.In overseeing the Reverse Logistics (RVP) process, which includes managing returns, exchanges, and product recalls, you will play a critical role in minimizing costs and maximizing recovery value. Your responsibilities will extend to partnering with customer service, repair, and warehouse teams to streamline RVP processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing relationships with reverse logistics partners, vendors, and service providers to facilitate timely and efficient processing of returns and exchanges.Your role will also involve coordinating pickups from various locations, such as suppliers, warehouses, and distribution centers, to optimize transportation efficiency and reduce costs. You will be tasked with scheduling and monitoring pickup activities, tracking shipment statuses, and promptly resolving any issues or delays to ensure on-time pickup and delivery. Effective communication of pickup schedules and requirements to carriers and internal stakeholders will be essential for alignment with logistics plans.In addition to the operational aspects of the role, you will be responsible for developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure logistics performance in areas like on-time pickup/delivery, NDR utilization, and RVP processing time. By analyzing logistics data and performance metrics, you will identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement. You will lead cross-functional teams in implementing process enhancements, best practices, and technology solutions to drive logistics efficiency and enhance customer service.To excel in this role, a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with 1-3 years of experience in logistics operations, transportation management, or a similar role. A proven track record of identifying and implementing logistics process improvements is essential, as well as strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills will be crucial for influencing stakeholders across departments.
