Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Team Management
- Provide decisive leadership and supervision to the assigned logistics team (Inbound or Outbound), promoting a culture of high performance, accountability, and operational efficiency.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate team members, overseeing performance reviews and ensuring adherence to company procedures and safety standards.
- Conduct mandatory daily team meetings to review operational performance, disseminate priorities, address outstanding issues, and coordinate upcoming logistics activities.
- Ensure the team's attendance is top‑notch, managing daily clock‑in/out records, addressing habitual tardiness or absenteeism, and setting a high standard for workplace commitment.
- Provide necessary training if needed to team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs), system usage (WMS/IMS), safety, and best practices to enhance overall team capability.
2. Planning, Analysis, and Operational Efficiency (Outbound Focus)
- Lead planning for picking and packing operations, optimizing workflows and resource allocation to meet delivery schedules effectively.
- Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled with an N+3 delivery cycle (meaning delivery must be planned and executed within three days of the order being processed, or a similar interpretation of $N+3$).
- Implement controls and checks to achieve minimum discrepancies for all delivery and picking activities, directly contributing to high customer satisfaction.
- Drive the team to ensure picking accuracy is as detailed as possible, minimizing errors and product misidentification through rigorous processes and checks.
- Strategically manage and optimize warehouse space, particularly concerning the staging and readying of outbound shipments.
- Execute comprehensive planning and analysis for all incoming shipments, coordinating closely with procurement, carriers, and internal sales teams to ensure accurate and timely receiving.
- Strategic management and optimization of warehouse space, including layout planning, inventory slotting, and continuous assessment of utilization metrics to maximize storage capacity.
- Monitor and analyze logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify process bottlenecks and implement data‑driven improvements for operational and cost efficiency.
3. Detail, Organization, and Compliance
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail in the processing and verification of all logistics documentation related to shipments and inventory records.
- Uphold exceptional standards of housekeeping and organization across all logistics areas (warehouse, docks, staging) through regular application of best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant local, national, and international trade regulations.
4. Stress Management and Adaptability
- Demonstrate strong capacity to handle stress and multitasking effectively in a high‑volume environment, managing competing deadlines and operational crises without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Proactively anticipate and resolve operational issues such as delays, damages, and inventory discrepancies using critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Additional Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage relationships with relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Inventory Management System (IMS).
- Contribute to budgetary planning for logistics expenditure.
Requirements:
- Nitec in Logistics Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.

- Machinery operations (stacker and forklifts).
