A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Inventory Management professional to oversee inventory control and operations across various locations. The role involves stock monitoring, maintaining compliance, and reporting, providing an opportunity for individuals with a diploma/degree and some relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Min 1 year working experience in related field.
  • Prior inventory management experience is an advantage but not required.

Job description

Job Summary

This role responsible for inventory management and inventory control in Accounting System and Warehouse.

Job Description:

1. Responsible for Company’s inventory management and maintenance.

2. Responsible for monitoring stock movements and maintenance at third party locations.

3. Responsible for managing the physical loading, unloading, storage of inventory and picking / packing when required.

4. Ensure compliance with inventory control processes with respect to movement of stock, item planning and control, re-order level, monitoring of non-moving items, timely discarding of approved scrap items.

5. Responsible for appropriate classification, segregation and maintenance of stock in designated areas.

6. Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained, referenced and filed.

7. Ensure compliance with inventory related updating in Accounting System.

8. Responsible for periodic stock taking, updating and reporting to all stakeholders.

9. Ensure proper co-ordination and communication with teams across all Company locations.

10. Responsible for timely identification of inventory variances, reporting and maintenance of records for variances.

11. Responsible for introducing appropriate procedures for control lapse if any.

12. Responsible for daily & monthly MIS reports to the stakeholders on regular basis and as per the requests by the concerned department as and when required.

13. Responsible for safe handling of inventory.

14. Additional duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time

Requirements:

-Min Diploma or Degree

-Min 1 year working experience in related field

-prior experience in inventory management would be at advantage but not a must

-Possess knowledge of Microsoft excel

Working hours:

Mon to Fri 9am - 6pm

Sat 9am - 1pm
