Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to act as a strategic enabler of seamless logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and efficient deliveries while demonstrating a flexible and agile mindset that supports dynamic business needs. This role is critical in driving customer satisfaction and contributing to overall revenue growth.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work with Air, Ocean, Express freight forwarders & transporters to track and prepare for inbound shipments from overseas, ensuring all documentation and permits are available and ready for import declaration filing until physical receiving at the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with Fulfillment & 3PL warehouse, Surveyor, Insurance Broker, and Auditor on inventory-related matters during inbound goods, e.g., mismatched quantities, in accordance with Danfoss SOP & DOP.
  • Work with Customer Service, 3PL Warehouse & transport teams to arrange both export and domestic deliveries in Singapore (including demo units, repairs & returns) and follow-up until Proof of Deliveries (POD) are received & handed to CSC.
  • Collaborate to ensure team meets global internal KPIs:
  • a) Warehouse Delivery Performance
    b) Finished Goods Replenishment Reliability
    c) Customer Complaints
    d) Warehouse cost
  • Participate in Warehouse Performance meetings, data validation, and regular meetings for Continuous Improvement.
  • Address misalignments of HS Code as compiled by the Global Trade Compliance team.
  • Work with Auditor & 3PL Warehouse to rectify issues from cycle counts & annual stock takes, if any.
  • Maintain records related to inbound & outbound activities as required by government/statutory bodies.
  • Coordinate with Freight Procurement & forwarders to provide CSC/Sales with estimated freight & transportation costs for non-regular trade lanes.
  • Raise POs for Warehouse & IT Equipment on behalf of the Warehouse team & follow-up until items are received.
  • Perform any other logistics tasks as assigned.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or prior experience in Freight Forwarding, Transportation industry.
  • 6–10 years of hands-on experience in logistics operations, import/export procedures, warehouse management, and supply chain coordination.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English (written & verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Melayu & Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP Warehouse Management, Global Trade Management (GTS), and Transportation Management System (TMS) is a plus.
